Welcome to Vote the Note! We are going to undertake a unique musical journey as a group, we are going to create a song by voting on musical choices throughout the songwriting process. In a series of ongoing elections we are going to voting upon various elements of the musical composition as it unfolds.
When you visit the Voting page, you will find that there is a large audio player at the top of the page labeled “Current Song Progression”. That audio player will play our community song in it’s entirety, as decided upon by you, up to it’s current state in the songwriting process. With each successive election, our collective song progresses towards completion and the large audio player at the top of the page will be updated to reflect the new election decision.
Below the Current Song Progression audio player you will find several smaller audio players with corresponding voting options. These players will play the last few seconds of our current melody with a brief preview of how each note sounds if it were to be the next election winner.
